How is the Dolphin Endangered?

In order to save these dolphins we need to raise awareness about deforestation. Deforestation is not always bad but at the rate that we are destroying forests it will cause great harm to many of earth's creatures.

The amazon pink river dolphin is endangered because of, human. The people are hunting the animal because it is so rare. Also, destruction of habitat endangers the dolphin. The people are destroying the forest which then leads the river into the forest which ruins the water.

The Amazon River dolphins are endangered because they are so rare. Many fisherman want the satisfaction of knowing that they caught a very rare fish. Also there is river contamination because there are gold mines so they lead into the river which contaminate it. That then kills the dolphins.

What is Deforestation?

River dolphins are rapidly disappearing and so are their natural river habitats. Understanding the threats that impact them and protecting them ensures the preservation of their unique habitat.

How does Deforestation affect the Dolphin

Deforestation is permenatly destoying land in order to expand or build other things. About every year a piece of land the size of Panama is lost. This will be very harmful to all of earth's creatures.

Deforestation can affect the river dolphin because of destruction of their habitat. When people destroy the forests they rivers leak into the forests which have the potential to contaminate the water and kill the dolphins.

Many animals who live in the forest suffer from habitat loss and death becuase of people destroying their homes for money.

What is a Pink river dolphin?

A pink river dolphin is an albino mammel. The dolphin gets its color and red eyes from a vein just below a layer of blubber.Their skin appears to be smooth and glossy. They are said to be one of the most flawless animals.

How is Deforestation Affect the Dolphin Part 2

Deforestation can affect the river dolphin because of pollution. The pollution can changes the oxygen levels in the water. Since dolphins are mammals they breathe the air and could die from it. Also, pollution can prompt the change in level of algea growth, which can deplete the amount of oxygen.

Why is the Amazon so Important?

The Amazon is so important because it is one of the most diverse rain forests in the world. It is also the largest rain forest located in the world. The rain forest is so important for the diverse life and the amount of frest needed for the animals. People need to protect this forest.
