We all love stories. We're born for them. Stories affirm who we are. We all want affirmations that our lives have meaning. And nothing does a greater affirmation than when we connect through stories. It can cross the barriers of time, past, present and future, and allow us to experience the similarities between ourselves and through others, real and imagined.

Yesterday, on the way home from school I saw the strangest creature. It had...
Step 1: Writing
- Each person starts with a piece of paper
- Write for 2 minutes
- ROTATE to the right
- Read what previous student wrote and ADD to their story (2 minutes)
- 4 Rotations
- Have some fun with this! Be Creative! Think outside the box!!! Be your naturally weird, quirky selves
- BUT BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE
- At the last rotation, make sure you conclude the story
Step 2: Reading
- Return the story to the original start person human thing
- Read your new story out loud
Step 3: Choosing
- Choose ONE story (but we can read more if we have time)
Step 4: Sharing! #sharingiscaring
- Read your group's story to the class
- Turn in a copy of your group's story to meeeeeeeee

- Each paired group will be assigned random cards from Superfight the Game
- Write for 5 minutes why YOUR monster will win the fight
- Present your arguments to the class
- Class votes who will win

- Talk with your group & create a story using the cards
- Write your story out (you'll turn in your group's story)
Expectations:
- Yes, you must use ALL the cards

- You can add "filler" stuff, but your story must incorporate ALL OF YOUR STORY CARDS
