One interesting fact about yourself that makes you unique! :

I went to Costa Rica for a volunteer trip with the Army in 2011 where we worked with little children, played games with the elderly, and rebuilt a school and road! It was an amazing trip where we got to go white water rafting, bungee jumping, rappel down a waterfall, climb a volcano, and zip lining through the forest.

One interesting fact about yourself that makes you unique! : I have taken two trips to a small village in the mountains of Guatemala for volunteer work – where I helped plant and harvest coffee plants, assisted in building a women’s center, and gave lessons in their newly found elementary schools. I considered being stationed there for a year before I went to college, but decided against it.

Something unique about myself is I hate socks, even these cold winter days I never wear them

I love Lysol, I spray it everywhere all the time and get teased about it lol

I have been with the company for 7 years first starting out working under ASI, who TOC use to own, running our Columbia Heights office. Once we closed that location I came to the Bloomington office to help with the front desk and slowly train into becoming a Coordinator for TOC. I eventually went full time as a Coordinator and now have been the Director for almost a year. I have been thru a lot of changes with TOC and I’m so happy to know many more are coming as we continue to grow

I love going four wheeling, sitting outside playing bags then follow it with a bonfire, love hiking and the smell of nature, playing bingo (I’ve only won once, but hey we can’t win at everything ) games with my kiddos such as domino’s, phase 10, cribbage, rack-o, taboo, apples to apples and I also just love sitting at home with my favorite pillow and blanky watching movies.

What was your best subject in High School: English

One interesting fact about yourself that makes you unique! I received a BA in Literature from Southwest Minnesota State University

and then went back to school for the accounting degree. It took 10 years of taking one class a quarter to complete the program at the University of MN. They do not issue a second BA so I earned an Upper Level Certificate 2 in Accounting. If I had taken all of the course work at the same time I would have double majors in Accounting and Literature with double minors in Philosophy and German.

I have been with Teachers On Call since August, 2013.

(I worked for ASI/TOC back in 1999-2000 as well)

My hobbies include being a mom to my 2 year old son,

playing volleyball, spending most weekends at our cabin

in the summer and 4-wheeling.

My best subject in High school was Marketing.

Interesting fact about me: I (along with 7 others who were with me) were struck by lightening in 2003 while tailgating before the Dave Matthews Band concert.

The incident has since been mentioned in the book “So Much To Say, Dave Matthews Band, 20 Years on the Road” by Nikki Van Noy.
