The music of Italy covers a broad spectrum of opera and instrumental music, the traditional styles of each region, and a set of popular and romantic music based on both native and foreign sources.

Italy is a country of great cultural richness, with great historical, artistic and architectural bastions. But all this is nothing more than a reflection of its people, as the Italians are noble and warm people who enjoy the finer things in life, enjoying both a relaxed and colorful festivals (unique in the world) and have strong beliefs and values.

It has been the home of many European cultures as Nuraghe civilization, the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans and was also the birthplace of the Humanism and Renaissance, that began in Tuscany and soon spread throughout Europe. Italy's capital, Rome, was for centuries the political and cultural center of Western civilization, and also the holy city for the Catholic Church, because in the city the microstate is Vatican. The cultural significance of the country is reflected in its World Heritage Sites, as is 49, the highest number in the world.
