Destiny...

Descendant of eternity, seeker of truth,

The lies of the past ever present,

My devine right to walk this path,

Yet surrounded by fear and doubt,

My sword of surrender held high,

Todays pain a journey to overcome,

Is there a reason for this change?

Or is change my reason to exist?

The scythe of death shall judge us all,

Always alone yet for ever defended,

Where on my journey shall I meet death?

For what comes next could be peace eternal,

I am the only obstacle to my destiny...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The tone of the poem is solemn and the mood of the poem is dark and depressing. The poem uses words like "blood," "abandoned," "alone" and "knife." The poet also uses a simile to compare the poet to a dog. The poet paints the image that he is walking alone on a deserted road.

The images and symbols of the poem represent the fact that the poet isn't at fault for the things that have happened to him. The theme of the poem is loneliness and one of the morals is that people betray those closest to them. This poem fits fate because it is something that cannot be changed and isn't controlled by the person. The poem shows that fate can be manipulative and cruel.

You Handed Down My Fate

You handed down my fate

On a shiny silver plate

My bleeding sours deepen

With every step that I take

Why abandon me now?

Now that I needed you the most!

You showed me the road

So empty and so cold

I started to walk the way

Eerie and alone to this day

You washed away your hands

With blood of your own strand

Did it not hurt?

Did it not sway?

You just walked away

Left me alone to stray

Amongst the ones that belonged

Like an abandoned dog

I watched you fade away

Right before my face

Into the smoke of life

You took away my eyes

You left the oceans burning

Behind the fiery red skies

The theme for "Destiny..." by Cosmic Dreamer is choices. The poem is about a person who is afraid that they will make the wrong choice and ruin their life. The author's viewpoint on life is very scary because the author says "I am the only obstacle to my destiny"(Dreamer).

The tone of the poem is cautious and the mood is confusing. The poet uses words like "journey," "obstacle," and "path" to describe the mood and tone. The author also uses imagery by painting the picture of somebody nervous about the things they will choose in life.

The images and symbols in the poem represents that the poet controls every decision he makes. The theme of the poem is choices and one of the morals is that the person decides their own destiny. The poem fits destiny because the person's life is created as he makes a choice. The poem shows that destiny can drive some people insane.
