It can happen that embed <iFrames> doesn't work in SP2013. This is because of the [HTML Field Security] setting.
This is where you can add a domain to the allowed sources to embed <iFrames>:

look slightly different, depending on your Office and SharePoint version.
1) Open the presentation and
click on the ellipses to open the sub-menu.
2) Select [Embed]
As an alternative... get the Code from an open Word Document.
Click on [File]
The same here: Copy the Code and paste it on
1) Copy the Code to the Clipboard.
2) Edit your Web Page
3) [INSERT]-[Embed Code]

The Word-Document is now visible on the WebPart-Page.
You can embed it in a larger scale, or read in fullscreen mode, download or even print as a PDF.
Click on the ellipses and then select the sub-menu on the preview.
There is no option to embed an Excel Sheet in the same way as PowerPoint or Word.
Embed Excel table ranges or graphics with the Webpart "Excel Services".

1) Select [Share] from the top navigation bar:
Sways can only embedded in SharePoint 2013!
1) Edit the page, place the cursor on the desired area and select [INSERT] - [Embed Code]
It can happen that not all of the content of the embedded Sway.
Navigate to your Sway-Portal...
2) Click on the elippsis button to extend the menu.
3) Click on [Get embed code]
4) Copy the code to the clipboard.
From the "My Sways" screen you can only get the link of your presentation.
Open your Sway to get access to the embed-code.
2) Paste the code from the Clipboard and feel free to modify the width and height of the frame prior inserting.
