Dear journal,

Last week a man came in from New Jersey named Thomas Edison. He looked like a normal enough, but he is truly a genius. Two days ago Mr. Reddington told us to come up with an invention that the military could use. Today Thomas came in and he had invented a true masterpiece. It is a grenade that releases an electromagnetic pulse that messes up all AC devices. He demonstrated this outside in an open field. He placed a refrigerator in the middle then threw the “EMP” grenade near it. When we placed the fridge in the field it had been running on an extension cord. After the EMP went off the fridge stopped working, it was stunning. Mr. Reddington immediately got Thomas a patent on the EMP grenade. Thomas Edison will certainly make a big difference in the world.

What if...

Thomas Edison was born in 1940 instead of 1847?

Edison Dies

Dear Mom,

Thomas Edison, my neighbor. has recently died. No one can figure out how. I plan to get to the bottom of it. If I do find out what happened I will become famous. this what I have been waiting for. i already know my first step. I need to find out about that robot leg. It defiantly has something to do with it. Next time you see me mom,I will be on the news.

Life in 2015

Police never will use tasers, only Pulsers. The EMP grenade was used world wide and concussion grenades weren't used often. Thomas Edison's death started a frenzy of detectives trying to find out how he died. Kids never learned much about Edison in school since he wasn't very important anymore.
