Botswana has a stable multifamily constitutional Democracy. Elections are held every five years.

There are four main parties.

Botswana formed its constitution on September 30,1966 after gaining independence from british

rule.

Religion

There is little ethnic conflict in Botswana and everyone is free to their own beliefs.

Botswana also includes the Makgadikgadi salt pans,the largest salt pans in the world

This used to be an ocean that dried up,in the wet season it floods with water but in the dry season it is dusty and barren.

The people of Botswana have adapted to their

homeland wearing light clothing and storing water in Ostrage egg shells. Botswana has also

become much more modern,at least half of citizens have phones and food and water can be imported in bad times.

Botswana is mostly covered by the Kalahari desert which is technically not a desert as it receives more than 10 inches of rain a year however in is still dry and sandy.
