My dad is like the cell (plasma) membrane because my dad controls what is best for the family. And the cell membrane controls what goes in and out of the cell. Including the energy and waste products. The cell membrane is also a layer that protects everything else inside, which means that, my dad will protect the family from whatever.

My dog and the cytoplasm re alike because they both don't really do anything but just stay there. The Cytoplasm is in the cell to kind of "hold" everything together. And my dog is there for the family's "entertainment".
Agustin and the Mitochondria are a similar because he is the one that has helped my family when we needed it. He is the they guy that people call in case of an emergency. Or in case they need help with something.
