ELA/ELD Instructional Materials Selection

Procedure:

1. Discuss/brainstorm elements of the rubric in small groups.

2. Discuss and combine elements of rubric in grade level groups.

3. Discuss and combine elements of rubric as a whole.

Norms/Introductions

Programs

  • Program 2: ELA/ELD- Our current English 9-12 which includes English Learners (ELs 1, 2, 3, 4) and Long Term English Learners (LTELs)*

  • Program 4: Intensive Intervention- Intervention for non-English learners

  • Program 5: Specialized ELD- Our current designated ELD parallel support classes (not in lieu of grade level content classes)

Next Tuesday, October 18

  • Meeting in Annex 202 (same place), 3:30 - 5:30

  • Two publishers will present (Springboard and My Perspectives)
