Pakistan is a nation that is situated in Southeast Asia. It shares a border with Afghanistan and India.

Estimated shortage of over 4.5 million in the country.

The population growth is up to one and a half percent in Pakistan. This is causing more and people to live in the surrounding slums.

Slum focused on is located in the city of Karachi near the sea port.

The maternal mortality rate is 260 deaths/100,000 live births.
