PEGI

PEGI stand for Pan European Gaming Information. PEGI are age rating system which was establish to know for the parent of what game they going to buy for their children. The roles they have is to watch every game to ensure it is appropriate for the age of the person before it is released. PEGI responsiblities is to rate the game for the person to play. For example 17 year olds can play 15 games and under. 12 year olds can play games that is suitable for them. Such as they can play 12 or 12A and under.

ASA stands for Advertising Standard Authority. They are advertising across all type of media. The type of role they have is to ASA concil senior or managment team. The type of responsibilities they have is to make sure advertising in all media is legal and appropriate. For exampple cigarate with baby was banned after complaints.

BBFC

BBFC stand for British Board of Film Classification. BBFC is the UK regulator of a film and vide that provide the age rating of the film. The type are 5 types of age rating: U, PG, 12, 12A, 15 and 18.

Their roles is to provide a suitable age for the film that is appopriate to see for the person who want to watch it.

They are responisable to watch every film and rate it to a suitable age for people to see in a cinema.

A regulatory body is groups of people who rehulate the law. In ourcase this is group of people who regulate what we see,hear,watch,buy and play?

PCC stand for: Press Complaint Commision. They deal with complaint from the newspapers and the journalist. PCC protect the right of invidual from the appropriate things.

Their roles they have is issuing ruling on complaints, publilcy cxensuring editor for breaches of the code and passing on request to editor that journalist cease contacting individual and prevent media harrasment.

The responsibilties they have is to ensure that public is happy with the magazine.

For example, no content is inappropriate.

OFCOM

OFCOM stand for Office of Communications. Ofcom is where they regulate on TV and the radio.

Their roles they have is: Executive commitie, Policy executive, Spectrum clearance and rewards.

The responsibillties they have is the keep the sector under control in to an age group. This depend on Ofcom to put the age group to a suitable age.
