Explain how the Inca and Aztec empires were impacted by European exploration/colonization.
The Spanish conquered the Inca and Aztec empires. They had an advantage because they had advanced weaponry and they also brought disease that the natives weren't immune to. If the European exploration never occurred there wouldn't be much of an America today and everything that we have that came from Europe wouldn't be here. Europeans brought new crops and new people but along with that they brought death and slavery.
Analyze the causes of European expansion from 1450 to 1750.
European expansion was when the europeans expanded their lands across Latin and Native America.in 1492, Columbus sailed across the Atlantic ocean and discovered the West Indies. In 1519, Magellan sailed around the tip of south America. Two years later in 1521, the Spaniards defeated the Aztecs.then, in the 1940's Spaniards abolished the encomienda system, Pizarro conquered the Incas, and Spanish looked north of mexico for new lands. European expansion was caused by columbus when he sailed from spain, hoping to find Asia for trade. He instead landed in the americas. The good effects were the things they traded and religion. The bad effects were disease, slavery, and wars.

From Europe to America disease, grape, turnip, livestock, honeybee and more was exchanged. The Colombian exchange made many native americans die due to disease but made the economy increase in Europe. Explain the impact of the Atlantic slave trade on West Africa and the Americas.
The Atlantic slave trade was a system of exchanging slaves from Africa to the Americas. The condition of life for these slaves was horrible. It impacted west Africa and the Americas by triggering war and reducing the population in the Americas. The slave trade occurred because the new world lacked work force so they chose africans because they fought diseases, they had experience with agriculture, they were used to hot temperatures, and could be worked very hard. For the Americas, the trade was good because the had lots of people to work for them and their economy went up, while for Africa there was a huge population decrease and made them susceptible to European Imperialism. The Atlantic slave trade wasn't important because society today would be better if there was never slavery.
