The divine act by which, according to various religious and philosophical traditions, the world was brought into existence
Allah created all things in the world and heavens. To create, all he has to say is "be." First, he created the earth and the heavens. Then he made all the creatures to cover the earth. Next Allah created the angels, the sun, the moon, and the stars to fill the universe. Rain poured down on the earth to break up the soil and all the plants were made. God asked the angels to bring 7 handfuls of different colored soil from earth to make man. God breathed life into the molded earth and the first man was made. His name was Adam and he lived in Paradise. There, Allah made the first woman from Adam's side and her name was Eve. Adam and Eve lived in Paradise and God let them eat anything they wanted except for the fruit on the forbidden tree.
The Evil One tempted them to eat the fruit and disregard Allah and they did. When God knew that they had disobeyed, he banished them to the earth. But God had created earth to give food, drink, and shelter to Adam, Eve, and the rest of the humans. He made the sun, mood, and stars to give them light. Everything in the world was created for the people and they should serve Allah and obey Him. The ones who submit to Allah will be saved and taken to live forever in Paradise.

This universe and world is not the first and will not be the last. The Supreme One, consisting of the Creator Brahma, the Preserver Vishnu, and the Destroyer and Re-creator Shiva, continually creates and destroys universes over time unimaginable by humans. After the destruction of each universe there is only a large black ocean left with a snake floating on it. On top of the snake is Vishnu who has a lotus flower grow out of him with Brahma on it. Brahma creates the universe from himself and everything in it is from Brahma. Since Brahma is a part of the Supreme Being, and everything is created from Brahma, it is all a part of the Supreme Being as well. Everything will be destroyed by Shiva at the end of the lifetime.

When the earth was young, it was covered by water. Above the earth floated a rock held by ropes attached to the four points of direction of the world. There were no humans and the animals lived on the floating rock. They decided they needed more space and Water Beetle offered to swim the seas to find land. Since there was none, Water Beetle dove deep into the waters and found mud. When the mud was brought to the surface, it grew and grew until it created the land like it is now known.
But the land was soft, and the birds found that the animals could not live there yet. The Buzzard went to prepare the land for all the animals. While Buzzard was flying near the Cherokee land, he grew tired and began dipping into the soft earth. Every dip created a new mountain or valley.
When the earth was dry, the animals decided that they needed light and created the sun. But when they placed the sun, it was too close and too hot. They pushed it farther up, but it was still too hot. So the animals kept pushing it up, seven times, until it reached the perfect spot. Then humans came to the earth. There was a man and woman. One day the man hit the woman with a fish and told her to multiply. Every seventh day, she birthed a new child and all women birthed new children every seventh day until the world had too many people. Then the women gave birth only once a year.
