Summary

Time

My film will be 6-8mins long as it will briefly tie my story together and so gives me the ability to focus on my scenes to send a clear meaning and form of foreshadowing the end of the story clearly.

Genre

9pm

Setting and location

I chose to do this genre because I believe gang violence and Drama are a very common link in today's society and adapted into (some) South London teenage lifestyles. Furthermore, being a teenage film maker will be a great advantage as I will understand from a teenager's perspective.

I am going to make a drama film that will be based on the storyline of gang violence. My protagonist is a young asian teenage boy that is influenced into gang violence and later suffer the consequences of this actions. My target audience will be a range of 16-20 years old.

It is going to be based on a modern day in London, Croydon in the area of Thornton Heath and West Croydon Estate. I will also be filming a scene a house kitchen where the protagonist will be talking to his mother.

My to-do list

By Saira Begum

I need a male protagonist that will be best fit for my film.

I also need additional male teenage boys ( 3-4 boys)to play as the gang members influencing my protagonist.

Furthermore, I need a middle aged woman to play the role of the protagonist's mother.

What do I need to do in order for my film to work?

I will explore and use different techniques that will be used to put my film together.

I want my film to be unique by making my cinematography skills very accurate and detailed to attract and engage my audience as much as possible.

I want to ensure that I make the storyline and meaning behind it clear to the audience.
