• Necessary steps to sow

-break ground- By loving them

-sow the seed- teach the gospel (Matthew 13:23, John 6:63). The word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11)

-cultivate - showing interest

-wait - be patient

Methods of the Lord Jesus

Christ lived and dwelt among us so that men could be saved. (1 Timothy 2:4)

-by Word & Spirit

Every normal living thing reproduces itself. For example animals and plant life. If we reproduce ourselves then the world will be filled with christians.

The Field In The Home

Introduction

It's important to identify the field. Why? You must know where to sow the "precious seed".

The plan of action (John 20:21)

Teach - All

Baptize - Who responds

Instruct - New Christians

Those who were taught became teachers!

Jesus & first century disciples taught home bible studied

We must teach the Word of God in the homes.

The major theme throughout the Bible is reconciliation.

We have:

• A world in trouble (vs. 10, 11)
• A savior for a world in trouble (vs. 14, 15)
• Someone to tell the world in trouble about the savior (vs. 18, 19)

How can we conquer the world?

Waht methods can we use?

• Those used by Jesus
• Those used by the Apostles

Both are found in the New Testament

Conclusion

Equipping

-Paul chose different persons to instruct specifically on how to reproduce others through leadership (2 Timothy 2:2)

-Five-fold Ministry (4:11, 12)

-Church elders exhorted (1 Peter 5:2)

Acts 1:8 tells us that the Lord will empower us to be witnesses.

Why did God Save me?

What does He want of me?

We are to fulfill the great commission!

We must share the good news with this lost world by spreading precious seed.

Methods of the Apostles

• Evangelizing - everybody (Acts 8:1, 4)

- everywhere (Mark 16:20)

- every day (Acts 5:42)

-mass evangelism (ex. Day of Pentecost)

-personal evangelism (ex. Ethiopian eunuch)

• Establishing

-3,000 immediately taught the fundamentals (Acts 2:42)

-saints in Antioch taught by Paul and Barnabas (Acts 11:22-24)
