  • Exposure; protect adjacent bldg, trees, and cars with ground monitor from Eng 1.
  • Confine; Tr 1 will use aerial ladder master stream to contain fire to B-C corner of bldg.
  • Extinguish; using defensive tactics to ‘hit it hard from the yard’ (overcome BTUs w/ GPM).
  • Overhaul; conducted by 3rd alarm. Will make entry after fire is extinguished
  • Ventilate; The roof is already vertically ventilated (smoke and flames visible from outside). NO NEED TO GET ON ROOF!
  • Salvage; Initiated upon arrival. Efforts to try to save surrounding area and the rest of the building that is not on fire.
