Odysseus vs Eurylochus (EXT)
Odysseus warns the crew not to touch the cattle, but Eurylochus wants to eat the cattle.
The crew gives into their temptation/starvation, and kills/eats the cattle.
1. Highest point of emotion/turning point: Odysseus wakes up and realizes that his crew has disobeyed him and is eating Hyperion's cattle. He tries to stop them but it is too late. He realizes that because of their disobedience, they must all die.
The winds finally die down and Odysseus & crew board the ship and set sail.
At Hyperion's request, Zeus sends a storm and lightning bolt, destroying Odysseus' ship and killing his entire crew. Odysseus survives, but is in big trouble now.
Odysseus + crew are on Hyperion's island. The prophet, Tiresias, warned them not to touch his cattle. The wind is too strong for them to set sail, so they're stuck on the island for a month and run out of food. Eurylochus suggests that they eat the cattle, and so while Odysseus is sleeping on the beach, they cook and eat the cattle. Hypenion asks Zeus to take revenge. Zeus sends a lightning bolt that destroys the ship and kills the entire crew.
