Conflict

This story reminds me of the movie Abduction. The movie abduction is like this because it is about a boy who was "abducted" by a family. He was concidered "abdcuted" because his parents put him in a family because he was in hiding from people. The boy found himself on a website for missing children and was very confused so he went to find out what happend.

  • "Nit since Nancy Drew has nosy , crime-obssessed kid been so hard to resist"
  • "Guy's name is Jack Leeper, a ten-time loser"

Man Vs. Terminology

I give my book a 4- star rating because 1. The book did not end up in very much suspence.

2. Because the girl ends up being found, not injured or dead.

The conflict in my story would be Man

VS Man, aka internal. The conflict is between Theodore and April's father because Theodore believes April's father abducted her. Cops believe Jack Leeper, an old creepy guy who had recently escaped from jail, abducted her but Theo says they are not looking hard eniugh. Theo lready knows her father is a selfish man who does things without asking.

Protagonist

The protagonist in the story would be Theodore Boone. Theodore Boone is April's best friend who cares about her very much. He is one of the main characters because first, like I said he is her best friend and the story is based on her because she was abducted in her sleep and Theodore works his hardest to help find her.

Theme

Genre

The theme for this book would be responsibility. This book's theme is responsibility because April's parents did not take much of it while her best friend, Theodore, took responibility in trying to look for her.

The genre of this book is mystery, which would be a "puzzling crime". This book has mystery because when April was missing from her bedroom the next morning everybody was very mysterious about who took her.

Setting

Summary

The setting takes place in the town of Strattenburg. Strattenburg is where April lives and is where she was taken. April's abduction took place between 9:15 p.m., when she last spoke to Theodore Boone, and 3:30 a.m., when her mother entered her bedroom and realized she was gone.

This book is about a girl named April who was abducted in the middle of the night. Theodore, her best friend, noticed it with the cops and they start searching. Theodore later does not think they are looking hard enough, so then brings his Uncle Ike into the situation.

Antagonist

The antagonist in this story would be Tom Finnemore. Tom is April's father and not a caring man. Tom is the antagonist becauase Theodore is against Tom because Theodore believes that Tom was the one who took his best frend.
