The difference between plutocracy and collectivism is that

  • In collectivism, everybody is equal in their social status, while in plutocracy the wealthier you are, the higher social status you have in that society.

  • In collectivism, there is no discrimination by their wealth as everybody is equal, but in plutocracy there is discrimination of people's sex, skin color, and ethnicity because these characteristics determined how wealthy you are in the society.

  • Collectivism does not advance and improve to another type of government like plutocracy does. for example, USA evolved from being a plutocratic government to and democratic government, and collectivism cannot evolve.

  • "WE ARE ONE IN ALL AND ALL IN ONE. THERE ARE NO MEN BUT ONLY THE GREAT WE, ONE, INDIVISIBLE AND FOREVER." This quote from chapter 1 shows that this society is all about being equal, and not being individual. which is not the chase of plutocracy as there is hierarchy of people depending on their wealth.

Examples of plutocracy include the Roman Empire, the city- states in Ancient Greece and Italy. Pre-World War II Empire of Japan is another example of a plutocracy. One modern example of plutocracy is the city of London as 2/3 of the city's votes are by the large business corporations instead of the residents.

Plutocracy

Plutocracy is a the society or a system ruled and dominated by the small minority of the wealthiest (richest) citizens. In other words, country or society governed by the wealthy.

Similarities

The Similarities between Plutocracy, and collectivism is that

  • In both collectivism and plutocracy, they both have a specific group of people who vote, regulate, enforce, and contribute to the society/ government. In collectivism its the world council of scholars, and in plutocracy its the wealthy people.

  • In collectivism and plutocracy, a specific group of people are more prior to the society than the individual. For example, in plutocracy the group of the wealthy control the society more than the individual. In collectivism, the world council of scholars control the society.

"And these words are the truth, for they are written on the Palace of the World Council, and the World Council is the body of all truth." Chapter 1
