Materials Processing

  • Water: 2 hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom form a molecule of water.
  • Flour: A powder made by grinding uncooked cereal grains or their seeds or roots.
  • Yeast: Sugar to grow, sugary water and oxygen.
  • Salt: Produced by the natural evaporation of sea water.
  • Honey: Starts as nectar, which is collected by bees, broken down into simple sugar and stored in honeycombs. The bees wings, create a constant fanning which cause evaporation; creating the thick, sweet liquid we know as honey.
