homework:

first of all its not true about high school that you don't get lots of homework, most of the time its just if you don't finish your work in class or for assignments. try to do one thing at a time, just focus on one assignment then do the other.the work can be really hard sometimes but just keep trying untill you get ti just like niya , trying to do a one legged scissor kick.

if you are being bullied, try your best to ignore the bully's threats, it can be helpful to talk to someone you trust, Stand up for yourself, Don't show your feelings, don't retaliate unless its completely necessary, and around people you can trust and try not to be on your own.

it's important to remember that you're not alone, there are hundreds of over people going though the same thing, there's also lots of advice and websites to look at on the internet

the four types of bullying are

  • Physical bullying - is when someone intentionally kicks, punches or hurts you in any physical way
  • Verbal bullying- is continuously hurt full insults, teasing, swearing and verbal abuse.
  • Social bullying -involves spreading rumors about another person, purposely leaving someone out of an activity or embarrassing a person in public.
  • Cyber bullying- is a embarrassing photo or statement on social media directed to someone is considered cyber bullying. It can be shared quickly with a lot of people, which is why it is so dangerous and hurtful.

to recognize bulling look out for Unexplainable injuries, Lost or destroyed belongings, not wanting to go to school or places where could get bullied, Sudden loss of friends or avoidance of social situations, decreased self esteem or if they might be bullying others Get into physical or verbal fights or friends that are bullies.

general stuff and myth's about highs school:

when you first come to high school you probably feel intimated, just like the cockroaches and the dragons; but that's only temporary. the older students wont pick on you or any thing like your told, once you get to know them there quite nice. pick your fights carefully with the teachers, they can turn bad in between a lesson. not all the teachers are mean and strict though, some are nice and understanding.

coming from primary to high school can be a big change with it sometimes being bigger, more intimating figures, louder and harder work. after a while it gets easier, more comfortable and you step out of your comfort zone,.

being different

Cockroaches are insects, and commonly known as dirty, incomplete and uncivilized pests, but in sensei's words he's saying it as a compliment, that maybe you're not normal or have as many limbs, but that doesn't define you as a samuari warrior or even as person. you define yourself by what you do and how you chose to define your self.

cockroaches can do things that dragons cant do for example cockroaches can survive radioactive exposure and live for a week with out its head, just how the samuari kids can survive with out a leg or arm.

being different isn't something to be afraid, or ashamed of, that's what sensei is trying to TELL THE cockroaches, you may be different and incomplete compared to the dragons , but that doesn't make you any weaker or not as important as the dragons.

you're just as strong, powerful, beautiful, and deserving to compete and thrive as they do....

everyone is different and unique, be proud of who you are and how far you've come, be proud of your unique quirks, backgrounds, strengths, weaknesses and how your look. don't try to be anyone else, just be your self.

don't let someone change who you are , to become something they need!
