The Success
In 1996, there was an increase over food in India
thus the Green Revolution started. Also, due to
the majority use of lots of pesticides to get rid
of the insects that is eating the crops, it was a
negative effect towards green revolution.
Why ?
GM foods are developed because there is some perceived advantage either to the producer or consumer of these foods. This is meant to translate into a product with a lower price.
