Hammurabi, made around 282 laws on a clay stone tablet. Punishment can be cruel, if someone disobey it. It says “Eye for an eye”, “Tooth for a tooth.” “If a son strike his father, his hands shall be hewn off." It means that if you had have wronged a person, the other person can enforce the law and get justice, the consequences is the same thing of what you had done to the same person. Hence reason why its "Eye for an eye".

The Union (of European nations), each countries are giving powers, making it a super government. It still a liberty democracy and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms and the rule of low.

In Ancient Athens, a leader named “Cleisthenes” introduced a political system where humans obeys the laws or rules. It was called “demokratia”, also known "Democracy". The System were made up of three separate institutions. Ekklesia, the Bloule, and the Dikasteria. Ekklesia, is when a leader writes the laws and rules, and they dictated foreign policy. Bloule, is the ten representative for the ancient athens. Dikasteria, is the court, where the citizens argued cases before a group of lottery-selected jurors.

The National Assembly of France made laws of rights and freedoms to the citizens. The basic principle of the Declaration was that all “men are born and remain free and equal in rights”. Meaning they are protected by the law. In 1793, the declaration of Rights of Man included new rights, such as "to work, to public assistance, to education, and to resist oppression."

New Zealand election act, in 1893 the universal year, where women suffrage movement happened, meaning that women had the right or entitled to vote on election days, women (21 or over) in Maori, and Pakeha in New Zealand are also included. New Zealand was one the of countries that give women the rights in to vote in parliamentary elections.

A group of rebels barons made him signed the treaty, because of what he had done to his people. The treaty promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment, and access to swift justice.

The fifteen Amendment constitution of the USA, in 1870 states every US citizens had the rights to vote in elections. No votes shall be denied or abridged by the US or by any states on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

The United Nations is a group that was created after WWII, they have meetings with other countries to prevent future wars. They try to give education and freedom rights. The United Nations try to promote friendly relation with other nations. They also try to recognize the rights and freedoms of what human has in the nations.

John Locke believes that the government shouldn't enforce any law on you without your consent. He believes you should respect and recognized the law in nature. John Locke believed human nature is about nice and tolerance. Unlike Thomas Hobbes, he believed that human nature is about selfishness. John Locke also believed in human natural state, that we're all equal, and independent. Every has the right to defend their "Life, health, Liberty, or Possessions,"
