I am making 2 versions

Placing 1 in the oven and

the other in the double steamer

to see which one turns out

better.

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1 c. of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 3/4 c. water

How did this acticity help you open your mind to other foods?

I learned that making a simple dish can take hours

and different types of skills to achieve it.

If I liked it?

I did like it, It was a simple dish

just took alot of time. The steamed version

had a better taste and texture.

Probably not, it was delicious I just

don't have the time. Cleaning up

the carmel... Took forever! Made a mess.

Mixing up the 3 ingredients and draining.

Pour the flan mixture into a shape

of your desire. Then I placed the

cupcake shaped in the oven and

the bowls in the double steamer.

It opened my mind to try different types of desserts besides vietnamnese, chinese, and american.

1. Melt the sugar in a skillet.

2. While thats melting, combine the 3

eggs with 1 can of sweetened condensed milk.

3. After they are well mixed, add the 1 3/4 c. of water.

4. Mix well.

5. Drain

6. Pour the flan mix into a 9 in. pan or a shaped pan you

that you prefer.

7. Bake for 1 hr and half
