Clarke wants to explore the world and see the dimensions of triangular structures across the land. She lives in NY and decides to start right in her state, at the flatiron building. The top of the building is shown to the right. Using the information given and the law of sines, find the missing side of the roof.
The next place she goes is in Paris, France. The Louvre is one of the biggest museums in the world. But how big is the building? Clarke wants to know. She asked a tour guide and he only knew two angles and the bottom length, determine the other side.

Next on her trip, Clarke notices the leaning tower of Pisa casts a long shadow extending out from the base of it. Given the information in the picture, use it to find the length from the top of the tower to the end of the shadow.

After the last voyage, Clarke crosses the Atlantic Ocean to get back to her home, but on her way back, she gets lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Even though she may never get back to her friends, she STILL wants to know the distance between Puerto Rico and Bermuda before she mysteriously vanishes.
After exploring Europe, Clarke gets bored and decided to head south. She finds a great pyramid and what's a better triangle than that? She remembers reading in her history book that the sides were 418 meters and the length across the bottom was 440 meters. But what are the angles? She uses the information she knows to find the top angle. It gets too hot so she heads back to the US.
