My parents were married 6/2/93

1 My dad had to wash dishes and wash his clothes and take care of his pet bird

2.My dads favorite thing to do in his free time was play soccer hide & go seek & karste

4. what kept him from attaining his goal was traveling to america and its still one of his goal.

5. His dad was his role model was because he was strong harworking and funny.

6.One of the biggest historical event that happen growing up was the Pope coming to haiti

7.Their biggest problem growing up was walking 45 minutes to go to school

8.Their most memorable moment as a child was when he found out he was coming to the US

10.One thing you should know about our family is how big our assets are.

1.My mother had the responsibilities that every teenager had CLEAN UP and get good grades.

2.Her favorite things to do was hair and run around her house.

3. My mother wanted to be a hair stylist.

4.She didnt become one because it wasnt an ideal job choice even though she did go to school for it..

6.The biggest historical event that happened while i was growing up was the first black president going in offices I was home when it all happen .It made me happy to see one of my fisrt major changes of the country.

8.My most memorable moment is the one winter where it snowed soo much we were out of school for a week

My mother was born and raised in miribalaise and has been working as a nurse for 19 years

My grandpa Was born In Ti guave Haiti & is now retired and living in florida

My Grandma is 72 and worked as a maiden for most of her life.

My father was born in port-au-prince and lived in hyattsville as a teenager He went to northwestern from 1986-1989 has been working as a driver for 20 years.

I was born 2/24/97 in petit goave, Haiti

I moved to New Jersey whenI was 1 and lived in MD since I was 3

My family has many traditions But one that goes by for all haitians is Soup joumu(pumpkin soup) on Newyears

A main haitian dish is usually fried fish in sauce over white rice and beans.

1. I have over 25 cousins.

I am the only one out of all my cousins to be born in Haiti

my parents knew each other from when they were as young as 8

My grandmother is catholic

so one thing she passes down

to us are Rosary's and a statue
