As a CC, my job would be to act as the middle man between the sorority and fraternity chapters at UW, and the design team at ABD, and ensure that the design, order, and distribution, process runs smoothly. Some of the tasks would include reaching out to chapters on campus, getting the word out about ABD, and being in constant communication with my Operations Leader. The overall goals are to develop sales strategies, learn proper business ethics, make new connections and friends on campus, and earn an income while learning time management and other important skills.
What would excite me about being a CC is the opportunity to meet so many new people in the greek community and on campus in general. i would love to get to know more women in other chapters, and being able to work with them as a member of another chapter could break down any barriers that may exist. Being a CC also excites me because i am able to make an income on my own time, while doing something fun that gets me more involved on campus. Also, one of my close friends, Jamie Troll, is a CC at the University of Delaware, and cannot say enough great things about the job! Her enthusiasm inspired me to apply.
1. Immediately reach out to all Greek chapter Presidents and provide them with information about ABD, as well as ask them to pass on my contact information to their Apparel Chair (or equivalent).
2. Make flyers to post around campus promoting ABD, so non-greek organizations also learn about the awesome opportunity to make apparel for their club/group.
3. Make a shirt for Pi Phi, so the women of my house
can show off what ABD has to offer.
