During chapter 4, Mrs.Who tells Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace this quote. She says "Nothing is hopeless; we must hope for everything" Mrs.Who quotes Euripides, the person that originally said this quote. This quote means that even in the darkest times we shouldn't give up hope. The character who says really tells us that we don't want to give up hope. A person would say this would probably have lot of hope and wants to help others have hope A trait that this person reveals is that they are very hopeful person. Mrs.Who says this because the children are losing hope to rescue their father. This quote relates to chapters 3 and 4 because in our chapters they don't want to give up hope even when hope seems lost. Even when they think they will never be able to save Mr.Murry (Meg's father) they don't give up hope on trying to save him. They don't loose HOPE.
