• Distance Education has been around since the mid-nineteenth century, with the main correspondence happening via mail.

• Now we have technology that allows us to have face-to-face and real-time class from almost anywhere in the world.

Copyright is a critical issue throughout the spectrum of Instructional Delivery Systems.

The use of copyrighted material in online distance education has escalated concerns over copyright and fair use.

• Certain instructional supports that are present in traditional schools may be missing from online schooling, such as:
• Money! There may not be enough money to support a cross-district distance course
• Distance learners may not have the same tutoring and direct support like in traditional classrooms.

• Continual renewal of teachers' licensure
• The dynamic growth and improvement of the distance delivery education system.

• Online Delivery System teachers need to ALWAYS have a back up plan in case the orginally planned task isn't working or something has changed
