Tips for Revision
- Have you clearly addressed the prompt?
- Is your claim clear throughout the entire essay? If not find the places it is not and revise those sections.
- Do your body paragraphs support the claim you've made?
- Do your topic sentences guide your body paragraph
- Listen to peer feedback and try to incorporate it into your next draft.
- Reread your paper and highlight sections you think you can improve upon.
- Copy and paste your paper to google translate and have it read back to you. This can help you find sentences that sound strange.
- Take a break when you don't know what else to do and then come back with fresh eyes
