here is the story ...
of the birth of a young man named Stephen Michael Dresner. It was a Monday morning when i went to the doctor for a regular visit and she said, go home, get yourself together, pack up and meet me at the hospital at about 4 pm today - you are going to have your baby today! i ran home, called your dad, aunt lisa / uncle tom, and both your grandparents, etc to get everyone ready. We waited for Rebecca to come home from school to tell her that her brother was going to be born soon. She was so excite when she found out - and she and Aunt Lisa made plans for dinner and fun while dad and i went to the hospital.
In time, we were moved to a room to get ready. After a few hours and a bit of work from me... contractions began. And a few hours later Stephen was born - but first the doctor asked me if i wanted to wait until January 28 to give birth (because it was just about 5 minutes to midnight - and i said no - lets give birth now! And so she told me to push - and push i did! and within a few minutes, Stephen was born - the doctor quickly took you away to clean you up - i heard a lot of whispering...
