Mechanical Engineers' main jobs is the development of engines, power plants, and different veichles of all sizes. It is a broad career choice that has many different subfeilds such as automotive, aerospace, recreation, agricultural, electrical, nuclear, etc.

A computer engineer, creates the hardware, and the software, needed in our daily lives. It includes robotics, computer programming, and machine control. The field is slowly beginning to merge with mechanical engineering as engines, and other mechanical devices are begining to rely on a computers in order for them to operate.
A link bewtten these two, once far different careers are slowly bringing brought together. Our daily machines already have computer technology possibly more than you are aware. These fields will one day merge into a career that continously creates high efficiency and easier to use machinery.

Computers now in your cars, control how your engine runs, notifies when your oilo needs changing, apply the brakes as needed, put more power to one wheel if your sliding down the road, shifts for you, and will even call someone if you tell it to.
Currently technology is currently being developed to make your car run more effieciently, burn less gas, have higher power output, run longer, and releae less carbon emissions.

2021: Now that I have recently completed my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Enginnering and a minor in Computer Programming, I plan to enter the work force and go back to get a Master's degree in a few years.
2031: I receive my Master's degree four years ago and am now the CEO of my own company; Shing Pow Motors. Specializing in the creation of Completely self-operating, self- maintaining vechicles. Currently I have 150 workers and am planning to move to a larger plant in the next five years.
2051: My company is now in the Forbes: Top 10 Companies. My company is stationed in Chicago, Illinois, where i have over 500 employees and highly skilled engineers working on nuclear and hydrogen-powered engines to power space transportation technology. I also have a group of engineers studying new fuel sources.
