the beginning

Business in Jamestown was thriving. They were friends with the indians, were getting good money for tobacco crops, and living a splendid life. Just outside of Jamestown, lived a man named Richard Pace. Richard Pace is my 15 greats' great grandpa. Richard Pace was good friends with a young indian boy. This boy looked up to him and respected him. One day, the indian boy's older brother told them the plan. He was to kill Richard Pace so they could get into Jamestown and kill the people. The indians were angry about what happened to Pocahontas, sad that chief Powhatan died, and they needed a leader. One indian stepped foward, and he hated the settlers. His name was Opechanacanough. He wanted the settlers gone so they could have their land back. the indian boy went to Mr. Pace and explained the plan. Mr. pace went to the people of jamestown and warned them.
