MERIT AWARDS

ADVICE TO PUPILS

  • May be nominated by a member of staff or another pupil
  • In Year 8 a pupil may be awarded a bronze merit badge
  • Only one badge awarded each school year
  • Bronze, silver and gold

POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR

  • Keep private information private!
  • Do not share usernames and passwords with anyone.
  • Change your password regularly.
  • Don’t leave your computer while your account is logged on.
  • If you wouldn’t say something to someone’s face, do not say it online!
  • If you feel that you are being bullied, talk to someone!

  • Be careful who you talk to online.
  • Not everyone is who they say they are. Only accept friends you know.
  • Don’t post anything that you wouldn’t want parents, teachers, future employers or someone who could make unwanted advances towards you to see.
  • Remember what’s posted online can stay there for a long time.
  • Don’t have webcams in your room!
