  • Name origin comes from the Latin word "caesius" meaning sky blue after the blue lines they saw in the spectrum

  • The element is used to make atomic clocks that are extremely accurate.
  • It is found in minerals pollutice and lepidolite. Most is produced as a bi product of the production of Lithium metal.
