A bomb is dropped on Japan, Hiroshima causing the last of the axis forces
to surrender!

Hitler commits suicide in his bunker as he has come to the end of a long - ending war with a tremendous loss of a Germans
and millions of angry allied citizens!

They were active
from 1933-
the end of the
war.
They were the
british night-
mare of the skies.
3.4 million tonnes
of bombs were
dropped from
1939 to 1945.
Adolf Hitler
That's about
27,700 tonnes
of bombs dropped
a day!
Winston Churchill
He manipulated the Germans to war along with
some other countries- forming the
axis powers.
He helped to finally
win the war with
inspiring quotes
and clever plans.
Hitler was born in
Austria and raised
near Linz. He then
moved to Germany
in 1913
He was the leader of Britain
during the war.
He was very cruel, with
labor / concentration camps, but had a
soft spot for some animals!
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it's the courage to continue that counts"- is one of his many famous quote that
inspired the nation.
World War Two
WW2 lasted 6 years - a time full of murder and slaughter. This is remembered with roses on memorials and 1 minute silences to remember all the
soldiers who fought - and succeeded in the name of
freedom.
