- Their was a lot of water surrounding the continent.
- It started to get cooler and drying the climate.

- Etyiidae is a prehistoric family of dromiacean crabs.
- Condylarthra is an informal group – previously considered an order – of extinct placental mammals

- The Hot and Humid climate departed and began cooling and drying climate.
- During the Paleogene the earths climate was hot and humid.
- The trend was partly caused by the formation of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, which significantly lowered oceanic water temperatures.
