Our definition of Myth that was presented at the beginning of the trimester was: "Traditional stories, a society tells itself, that encode or represent the worldview, beliefs, fears, or warnings of that society."
Are there contemporary myths that we share as a society? What are they and how do they fit with this definition?
Based on what you have learned through the stories about the gods, goddesses, afterlife, and heroes, what would you say were the fears and warnings of their society? Use specific examples to back up your claims.
