What does it do?
Regenerate RuBP
Acts as the raw material in the production of other carbs
Synthesizes Glucose
Glucose can be polymerized into amylose and amylopectin and stored as starch.
How is it Divided?
1/3 goes to starch production
2/3 moves out of chloroplast into the cytoplasm where it is converted into sucrose for transport.
