In the picture of the man being mugged by the other man I imagine the person getting mugged is a Greaser, and the people doing the mugging, is the Socs. The word associated with this picture is violent because when they mug the person, or in this case the Greaser, the muggers, in this case the Socs, are being violent toward the person getting mugged, which is in this case the greaser. I chose the image of the football player because the male Socs are all big time jocks. The word that I associated with this picture was jocks, because the Socs are jocks.

I picked the picture of the street fight because I thought that street fights were what really started the plot to the outsiders because the street fight was what made Johnny kill Bob and made both Johnny and Ponyboy run away. The word I associated with this picture was reckless because in the picture they are being reckless when they get into fights.The next picture I choose was the picture with the boy with long hair. Having long greasy hair is very important, if not a tradition to the Greasers. It means an extra amount importance to Ponyboy. The word I associated with this picture was Long-hair because in the picture the boy has long-hair.
