Connection:

Trayvon Martin Case

This relates to the Trayon Martin Case because Trayvon Martin was an innocent young man who was killed. Since Tom Robinson was innocent but still sent to jail. Leading into his fate, he gave up on tying and just tried to escape the craziness of the world, but later shot doing so. Trayvon was accused for something he didn't do but killed anyways. They both had a major impact among society.

Trayvon Martin: People of all races are wild up from a white n shooting a black kid. But if the other way around Whites would want him dead. The guy who shot him didn't go to jail right then and there.

Tom Robinson: Left life being know as the "typical black negro" because he tried to escape his punishment. In the end he was killed and stereotypes among black people become more deeper and worse.

Overview of 24-27

After the Tom Robinson trial, Scout and Jem are going through a lot among encountering people. Aunt Alexandria talks badly about the trial and saying it "effected" her maid's sulkiness from the events. She gets told off about it and is told to let Atticus enjoy hospitality. Tom Robinson dies from getting shot by a prison guard trying to escape prison. Later on in the book, people are pretending to be nice to them just because Atticus is their father. Its almost that time of month again and that's going to school. Before school starts back up again, the death of Tom and the trial has been the hottest talk of the town. Many people are happy of how events turned out while others are left sad and depressed of the factor. On one night Scout was curious about whether or not its ok to hate Hitler. Atticus later explains, but Jem gets upset and angry cause he doesn't want to remember something. During the fall, Bob Ewell gets a job then later gets fired due to being lazy. he also gets into it with Helen Robinson. Judge Taylor notices something off by something unusual appearing. Plus Scout is looking forward to the Halloween Pageant, but has no one to take her until Jem offer to do so.

Theme

The theme of our chapters is having injustice because people were accused of doing something and being penalized for an action. There was a few events involving injustice acts such as Tom Robinson and his trial session. Also don't be believe in stereotypes because not everyone represents whats being said negatively.
