THE BEER MAKING PROCESS

The ingredients in beer

The barley gets mashed in a mash tun

which turns the starches into sugars that

can be fermented this is done by adding

hot water to the barley and moving it around

in a pot

The liquid left after the masher is called

wort the wort is mixed with hops

and sometimes other flavors and then

boiled in the copper
