The rock cycle is a cycle that goes over and over nonstop. The rocks in the rock cycle are Igneous rock Sedimentary rock and Metamorphic rock. In this prezi we will be learning about the rock cycle.
Examples of sedimentary rocks include limestone, sandstone, mudstone, greywacke, chalk, coal, claystone and flint.
The atoms and molecules of melted minerals are what make up magma.
THE SEDIMENTARY ROCK IS MADE FROM BROKEN DOWN DISOLVED ROCKS. THE SEDIMENT THEN LAYERS AND ADDS PREASSURE AND STICKS TOGETHER, FORMING A SEDIMENTARY ROCK.
THE IGNEOUS ROCK FORMS WHEN A VOLCANO BLOWS LAVA AND MAGMA OUT. THE LAVA THEN COOLS AND HARDENS. THE ROCK BECOMES A IGNEOUS ROCK.
A Metamorphic rock forms when
the sediment on the ocean goes
down by pressure and heat. The heat then melts the rock and goes into a volcano the volcano then blowes the rock out making the rock cycle.
