by Jessie Pacheco

How do they help?

GOOD BYE?!!!!

International Federation for Human Rights or FIDH stated that they have helped in civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.

The Human Rights Watch or HRW have extensive coverage of violations of local and global news.

These help because they bring justice to those in need of their rights.

What is Article 15?

Who is trying to stop it.

Where is it currently being violated?

This is currently being violated in the Dominican Republic.

What is happening is that the Government there doesn't recognize kids born from Haitian immigrants as legal citizens meaning they can not enroll into schools and colleges and they can not register children at birth.

Article 15 states everyone has the right to a nationality.

No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

Their are many organizations who are trying to stop these violations and bring them into the spotlight some of these include: The Human Rights Watch and FIDH

Time in History where it was violated

This right was violated during WW2.

It was violated when Hitler passed The Nuremberg Laws.

These laws stripped Jews of Germany citizenship and Jews were not allowed to marry Germans.
