Predation: A heron kills a trout and eats it.

Commensalism: Ferns grow on the trunks of trees without harming the tree.

Parasitism: A leech attaches to a fish and sucks its blood.

Competition: Algae and duckweed compete for space to grow.

Mutualism: The ant house plant absorbs the waste of the ant while the ant removes leaf eaters from the plant.
