Document Management System helps in managing documents electronically (Minnesota Historical Society, 2012). It is the use of a computer system and software to store, manage and track electronic documents and electronic images of paper based information captured through the use of a document scanner. Moreover, it provides security of information while it still allows easy access of the users to the electronic documents. The process has to do with capturing, storing, and retrieval. During accreditation it will help improve the accessing of documents by the accreditors wherein they can evaluate documents more easily and conveniently.

This presents the development of An Online Accreditation Document Management System. The system covers the process of scanning all the paper documents and providing an online viewing of such documents by the accreditors during the accreditation survey visit conducted by the Accrediting Agency of the Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. The main objective of this system is to provide a portal for the accreditors which can help them easily evaluate the documents without scanning bulk papers documents. Each of them will be providing an account which they can be able to view, search or even download and print the documents that they are evaluating.

All the documents needed for accredittaion ( Area I-X with corresponding Parameter A-G) must be scanned and be in electronic format which is either created electronically or scanned in from a paper version. It will be a paperless accreditation survey visit.

More accredited programs in the various colleges by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) is the main concerns of the University. It would be a great help, if there is a system which can help the Institutions improves its accreditation preparation.

Significantly, the Sultan Kudarat State University has been rated Level III-A in the SUC leveling. Having subjected itself to accreditation, SKSU is at par with other leading institutions in the country. The alliances and partnerships with international organizations and institutions brought SKSU into the realm of the global world.

OUTLINE

Green technology evokes images of pristine waters, clean air, productive soils, and lush vegetation. Green technology is a dynamic process that aims to achieve all these, by generating technologies that are least impactful and most regenerative to natural resources, organisms and environment in general. It encompasses sustainability, source reduction, innovation, and viability (Burgos, 2013).
