Government

Ancient Greece had different governments per state because cities in ancient Greece were mostly city states. Around 800 BCE, most governments were ruled by rich landowners. Around 750 BCE, most governments were controlled by Aeropagus which meant council, and finally, around 500 BCE, the city of Athens came up with Democracy.

Ancient Greece was very religious country. They built many temples for the Gods they believed in.

Ancient Greece didn't have money system before 600 BCE, therefore they utilized barter at the time. Ancient Greek money were called Drachmas and each city states minted their own money, and merchants often only took money from their own city.

Geography

Ancient Greece had many mountains and soil that were not good enough to plant on. But they had many seas and islands. Because of that, many Greeks were sailors.

In ancient Greece, most cloths were made out of fabric. It was intensely coloured and was usually decorated with intricate designs.

Ancient Greeks were the first Europeans to read and write with English. Different variants of early

Greek English suited to local dialects.

Ancient Greek had many musical instruments,

but Lyre and Flute were the most famous. The Satyr god Pan is famous for playing the flute.

There were many jobs in ancient Greece. Many Greeks were sailors because ancient Greece had many beaches. Also, jobs depended on which state they lived in. Jobs in ancient Greece divide up to 3 categories. Common, Specialized, and Women's jobs.

Ancient Greek usually ate fish since many of them were sailors. Sometimes they burnt and served food to temple of Gods.

Ancient Greek were very religious. They believed that Gods lived on top of Mt.Olympus. The Greeks had 12 main Gods who they usually worship the most. This was because the Greeks believed that these 12 Gods had the most power over the world.
