After the first long or medium picket is positioned, the picketdriver
team members begin driving pickers in the first row. The
team drives the picket with the concave side toward the enemy
and at the exact location where the picket bottom lies.

l. Picket-and-wire team member 3 carries three rolls of concertina
to row 9 and two rolls to row 11.
Adding a log or other debris between the fifth and sixth
rows can increase the effectiveness of the obstacle by making it
more difficult to breach using a bangalore torpedo.
a. Space three long or medium pickets 5 meters apart in each row.
