My Rating
I gave this book 5 stars because it not only tells an amazing story of a determined girl but how she grows with God and discovers an awesome relationship with him. She also discovers that He is always with her.
Michelle Burford helped Gabby edit this book. Before she met Gabby Douglas she had never done a cartwheel but when she saw Gabby win she did.
The author of this book is Gabby Douglas herself. She wrote this book so others can learn more about her amazing life and how she took a leap of faith with God.

On December 31, 1995 Gabrielle Douglas was born. The day she was born was the day her mom almost died. She weighed 6 pounds and 3 ounces when she was born. She was little but God made her to be something BIG.

Dear Joyelle,
How could you give up ice skating so you sister could do gymnastics? I don't know if I could do that. I think it is so cool that you could. It must of made your heart drop when you lost your sister's earrings she got for Christmas. You are such a good older sister to her.
Sincerely,
Grace
Gabby- A girl with a ton of determination and 100% dare devil who loves the Lord
John- A beloved brother of Gabby who is her best friend
Joyelle- A sister of Gabby's who gave up ice skating so she could do gymnastics
Arielle- A sister who got Gabby(Brie) into Gymnastics (also gave up gymnastics for Brie)
Natalie(mom)- An awesome (partially single) mom who tries super hard to give her family what they need and provide them a Christian life.
This book really moved me and touched my heart. Through all the trouble she faces she keeps going and never gives up. Gabby makes the bad times into something good. She is determined to do well and gives the glory to God. When I'm on the soccer field I will admit that I don't always give the glory to God when I should. Gabby is a fighter; we need to be one too.
